In a time not so long ago, I fostered a pup named Apple.  She was sweet and full of energy and you couldn’t help but fall in love with her.  I even fell in love with the slapping of my face with her paws, sometimes. When she found her forever home, it was quite bittersweet.  The sadness was silenced a bit when I heard about her afternoon walks with her new buddy and his love for her. 

Apple is now a New Orleanian, but there are so many other pups and cats out there in need of permanent and temporary homes.  My friend and I have decided to start an annual fundraiser for Rescue Foundations across Acadiana.  The event will be held every May.  There will be music, raffles, supply donation center, food, games, and more.  We are kicking it off this year on May 26, 2012.  If you want to be a part of it, please don’t hesitate to email me!  Follow us on Facebook for more information and updates!
